JPEG2000 is a result of the collaboration between:

  • The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a private organization,
  • The International Telecommunications Union (ITU-T, formerly CCITT), a part of the United Nations and
  • Input from a multitude of industry experts from companies such as Agfa, Canon, Elysium, Fujifilm, Hewlett Packard, Kodak, LuraTech, Motorola, Ricoh, Sony and others.

JPEG2000 Net imaging spec sparks design work
